In this modern world where everything is at hand, where we can catch informations even in the street, walking, or sitting comfortably in the living room. We need to perceive a sense of belonging in everything we do and in all places where we are, and be part of the movement. We have learned that studying is nice, if it means doing what we love. Times are changed and seems obsolete being stuck on tradition layout made with just uncomfortable desks and a chairs. The new university has no boundaries, no imposed schemes, is more like a home full of creative minds and technical tools. A place that meets our needs but also our most futile and comfortable demands is the home where we wanna grow up.
Shareable, modular, fun, portable, flexible. The concept of flexibility evident in a multi-level layout and tied to a new pedagogical approach. Is a game of building spaces and moments.
Meet up with colleagues, work comfortably lying in the attic, being able to study, play and built with materials, make a coffee and order pizza, join students and teachers in private.. this space will have to answer very specific canons: comfort, approachability, creativity, style, jocularity, flexibility.
Modular spaces, classrooms made by rigid curtains sliding on thin trucks, with unusual shapes that define the environment itself, finalizing large or small, private or common rooms, according to needs. The mezzanine, our lofts, that rise physically and metaphorically from college stress, changing the perception for a moment, create small aggregation areas. The material library is colored, eclectic, dirty, finally approachable to everyone.
the keywords are evolution change exploration. The world as we have created is a result of our thinking. We can not change it if we do not change our way of thinking.
